Scorpions have inhabited the earth for the last 400 million years. Scorpions are arachnids. 

They live in many different habitats, but they are mostly found in deserts.

Scorpions can hold their breath for up to 6 days. 

They have strong pincers and a stinger full of venom. The venom of most species of scorpions can not harm humans but some species can harm.

If food is scares a scorpion decreases its metabolic rate so it can survive longer without food. 

Deathstalker Scorpion:

Deathstalker scorpions are found in deserts of Africa. 

These scorpions are either yellow or green. 

They are very aggressive even with the slightest of provocation. Its venom is very powerful and its stinger is very painful.

Females are larger than males with a length of 10cm long. Its pincers are more thinner than other types of scorpions and that's why it can't hold on to its pay for long time.
